Silverside is building a platform that facilitates secure, documented, permissions-based sharing of data from smart city infrastructure into next-generation radiation detection networks. This is a hybrid R&D/commercial project, with funding from a Department of Defense contract and a goal of transitioning the technology to market.
This position is a new hire, with initial responsibility to lead the software team in developing a software tool to interface with third-party VMS/camera networks, to access camera feeds associated with a geo-co-located radiation detector.
Technology Stack:
- Network communications on an embedded IOT devices
- Data acquisition and processing applications
- TCP/IP based client/server socket applications
- Python applications for embedded Linux devices
- C#/.NET applications to integrate with third-party applications
- Database architecture for local and distributed systems
- Server administration protocols
Management:
- With the CTO, map software architecture according to DARPA project plan
- Oversee writing of monthly technical reports; participate in monthly program management reviews
- Manage milestones/deliverables according to schedule
- Participate in strategic planning for go-to-market transition
