We are looking for Java Developers to join our team in Washington DC., You will design, develop, deploy, maintain and enhance our content and advertising systems.
Develop product features with minimal supervision.
Analyze requirements and develop software solutions.
Contribute to engineering practices, architecture, and implementations.
Maintain up-to-date documentation on processes and code.
Work with data team to analyze and design database for application.
What do I need to succeed?
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or other software-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years relevant work experience, including programming experience with Java, and SQL.
Adaptability and curiosity about unfamiliar frameworks and technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Eagerness to work in a collaborative environment, including teaching and learning from teammates.
Additional preferred skills:
Development and deployment using Linux or UNIX systems.
Source code management and bug tracking software, especially Mercurial and Jira.
Comfort with Agile software development practices, including test driven development, continuous integration, and iterative developmen
