The primary role of the Warehouse Computer Technician is to maintain all inventoried computer systems and to prepare computer systems including related equipment for clients and company personnel.
The Warehouse Computer Technician should be a self-motivated individual with good organizational skills, a great attitude and who is proactive. The candidate must be willing to work in a warehouse environment where prolonged periods of standing may occur; must be physically fit (able to lift at least 50 pounds); and should have a good working knowledge of computer systems, specifically Windows Operating systems. Each candidate will be individually assessed based on their qualifications. The Warehouse Computer Technician Duties & Responsibilities:Maintaining an inventory of over 600 rental computer systems and peripherals such as Laser Printers and networking gearInstalling hardware and software systems Imaging computer systems Troubleshooting a variety of computer issues Setting up computer security measures Configuring computer networks
The job requires teamwork with other warehouse employees, specifically during busy seasons when working on equipment pulls and getting trucks loaded and unloaded in a timely fashion. Throughout the year, there will be requirements for special software builds and other unique needs that the individual will need to manage and provide. Clients and/or the Projection on-site team will assist in providing these unique builds, which the individual will then clone onto the required number of systems.

Reporting Structure:You will report directly to the Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Computer Technician will also work closely with other warehouse personnel and the Corporate Vice President. Internal Relationships:You will maintain and foster a cooperative working relationship with the Projection Account Executives, Sales Managers, Equipment Manager and other Warehouse employees. The Warehouse Computer Technician must also foster positive internal relationships within Projection Presentation Technology to facilitate the smooth flow of information that will allow the company to evaluate new technology, provide the quality service that will better position itself for future growth. Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or A+ Certification preferredOne or more years of computer systems experience requiredSupervisory experience preferredExperience with Windows Operating systems is required. Experience with Macintosh Systems preferred. Familiarity with computers used for AV purposes preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals and clientsExcellent organizational skillsExcellent time management skills; must be able to multi-task and work in a team.
