BTI is seeking an experienced IT Manager. The IT Manager supports and maintains the IT infrastructure by managing, installing, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading server software and hardware while ensuring optimal performance. The person will also support end users (in person, by telephone, or via support tickets) in a timely fashion as needed. Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the IT infrastructure, to include Windows based servers, Active Directory and Azure, server applications including ERP, Solidworks and Autodesk; hypervisors, premise and cloud-based storage and applications including Office 365; network support, cyber security, backup, offsite disaster recovery, the alarm system, and Cisco phones. Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of IT infrastructure problems and recommend and implement corrective solutions.Install, configure, image, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user computer hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software, and other products.Receive and respond to incoming calls, emails and/or support tickets regarding desktop problems.If necessary, work with third-party support and server and PC equipment vendors.Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.Ability to troubleshoot computer software and hardware problems Team player who is also comfortable working alone QualificationsBachelors degree and at least 5 years work experience in related field. Experience and knowledge of servers, PC, and laptop hardware, OS, software, and networking.Knowledge of business applications typically found in an engineering environment (Office, CAD, etc.)Relevant certifications, such as A+ or Network + preferred.
