Work in an agile team environment with other engineers to design, develop and test application features and functions as described in the product backlog.
Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Develop software using the following :
o Backend Java (required)
o Node.js, TypeScript, JSON, and/or other programming languages and standards.
Consult with other engineers to identify current operating procedures and clarify design and implementation objectives.
Formulate plans using industry-standard techniques to outline tasks required to deliver committed user stories.
Work effectively as a member within an agile Scrum team.
Address and resolve data quality issues, such as integrity, accuracy, and completeness in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
Participate with other members of a product team to operate and support developed products in a production environment.
Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Station Casinos Beyond the Best Company-wide culture and demonstrating Station Casinos Championship Service Standards at all times.
4+ years of development experience in an enterprise environment with demonstrable proficiency in tools and technologies similar to those in common use in Station Casinos software development.
Demonstrable knowledge of software design, software patterns, and object-oriented programming (OOP) techniques.
Certification as an in agile Scrum Team Member.
Demonstrable proficiency in at least 3 additional team disciplines
Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively with Stakeholders, Team Members and Leadership in both written and verbal form.
Must be able to work on call as required.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Bachelors Degree in a technology related field or equivalent experience.
Must be a self-starter and work with little or no daily direct supervision.
Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
Must be able to sit at a computer for extended periods.
Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers, devices, and peripherals.
Must be able to hear and speak clearly using a standard telephone.
Must be able to provide on-call support for your assigned Casino or other locations as required.
Must be flexible on work hours as systems emergencies arise.
