Job Title: Lead – Java Full Stack, Marketing & Merchandising (Master Data)
We’re looking for a talented and passionate engineer to help our client evolve one of their core b2C product offerings. This critical tool allows their sales team to measure how their Client is performing on the website to enable future sales & retention opportunities. This platform connects their potential retail buyers: family of brands includes some of the most prominent brands in food retailing, with a growing base of loyal shoppers. The technology stack you’ll be working with includes (but not limited to): Java, Spring Boot, SOAP, REST, MicroServices, Cloud, Angular JS, NoSQL with hands-on experience and strong in backend services.
What You’ll Do:
- Help others around you grow as developers and be successful
- Application and infrastructure design from concept through development and implementation
- Ensure the code you’ve written functions as designed by creating automated unit and integration tests, which execute in our continuous delivery pipeline
- integration and data migration development utilizing ETL development in DataStage or equivalent required. programming, including integrating applications across diverse technical platforms required.
- Working with application server (Websphere, WebLogic) and database technologies (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server) required. Strong knowledge of UNIX/AIX, Windows, and Mainframe technologies desired.
What You Need:
- Proficiency with Java
- 5+ years of Retail or Master Data applications development experience greatly desired. Exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application
- Experience troubleshooting problems that can occur at scale
- Strong experience with the full software development lifecycle and software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
- Self-starter that can work in a highly cross functional environment and remove roadblocks.
