Linux is the most popular operating system in the cloud. Linux Partner Solution Architects enable our ISV partners to deliver joint customer success. Partnering with customer facing service teams you will work strategically on Linux and ISV partner development roadmaps to validating enterprise and cloud-based solutions on AWS.
As a Sr. Partner Solution Architect within Amazon Web Services (AWS) you will need to work across multiple customer and partner accounts to help shape and deliver a strategy to onboard, automate, and test partner ISV solutions on a variety of internal and external Linux OS and container offerings.
You will also have the opportunity to write blogs, whitepapers reference architectures, deliver webinars, speak at events and file patents for what could potentially be future AWS products or features. You will work directly with senior engineers with customers, partners, and the AWS service teams to influence the future of Linux at Amazon.
The ideal candidate would have experience working with enterprise ISVs to certify their solutions on Amazon Linux, bring partner ISV solutions to the cloud, or as a development manager supporting a variety of Linux packages formats and distributions.
As a member of the AWS Partner team, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our partners and service teams by capturing customer feedback to help drive the future of Linux on AWS, share best-practices with our broader Solutions Architect community, and be the partner technical point of contact for Amazon Linux.
You should be a technical domain expert and have experience with open source and the Linux OS both as a philosophy and commercial implementation.
Experience working directly with customers is required, and prior experience working with partner solutions is a plus.
This position can be based in Seattle, Irvine, Dallas, Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, San Francisco, Herndon, Houston, Boston or New York.
Up to 30% domestic travel is required.
