Chase Card Services is looking for a Software Engineer Team Lead, SME in Card space and with Tech Skill set span Distributed and Mainframe technologies to work on our Card Product team delivering in an agile product-based delivery model.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast paced agile product delivery model. Adaptability, innovation, and open mindedness are key for success in a product model. We're looking for experience and passion using modern technology practices, working directly with business, focused on quality, speed, and automation.
Prefer Candidate to have Bachelor degree in Computer Science and hands on experience Designing, developing, implementing and maintaining APIs, micro services, Mainframe Apps on a large scale production platform supporting over 80 million active Credit card customers. In addition Candidate should have
Experience with building messaging, event-driven architectures.
Experience relative to IBM ZOS Aqua, Kafka Cluster, and Web services
Experience with multiple database platforms (VSAM, DB2, ORACLE, Cassandra).
Experience with high volume, mission critical applications.
Experience building distributed systems at Internet scale.
Technical & functional SME knowledge of Banking product TSYS.
Experience working in a fast-paced financial services/digital focused delivery environment.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with tuning high volume applications.
Thorough knowledge working in Agile Scrum project methodology.
Experience supporting the day-to-day maintenance of the application systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application and data issues and issues resolution or escalation
Deep analytical thinking using root cause analysis, management communication and client relationship management in partnership with Infrastructure Support team members
Experience in collaboration to ensures all production changes are made in accordance with lifecycle methodology and risk guidelines
Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
