Lead the development efforts of a team of 10 Software Engineers, Architects, and Technical Product Managers, including planning, design, and delivery of high-quality code for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
Create development and architecture standards/guidelines for applications teams and drive adoption of a DevOps model.
Develop proofs-of-concept that test specific business use cases using next generation AWS and Azure tools and technologies.
Apply experience developing with public cloud (AWS/Azure), server-side web development, client-side web development, or REST/web services using XML/JSON.
Apply experience delivering automated infrastructure architectures and scripts (using Cloud Formation, Python, Terraform) on public cloud (AWS or Azure).
Translate business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications.
Develop support documentation for acceptance of systems changes into production.
Participate in code reviews and walkthroughs of technical specifications with other members of the technical team.
Apply experience programming with Java, Python, or C#.
Communicate design, requirements, functionality, and limitations of systems/applications through sequence diagrams and OpenAPI specifications.
Utilize departmental Agile software development methodologies as a guide for development activities.
Apply experience developing, coding, and designing software and/or responsive web-based solutions, including open source software projects and web-hosted applications in the cloud (highly scalable and serving millions of customers).
Apply experience analyzing large data sets using machine learning or processes mining methods, using Jenkins for continuous integration and development (CI/CD), and implementing and implementing web APIs.
Meet project schedules by providing accurate estimates of effort required for development deliverables.
Communicate updates on project progress to development and project management, escalating issues which may affect project success.
Maintain technical skills and expertise through continuing education and training.
Collaborate with Engineering, Application Development, Security, Compliance, Testing, Project Management and Application Support teams for successful delivery of systems enhancements.

Developing, coding, designing and delivering enterprise-wide automated infrastructure architectures and scripts using AWS and Azure public cloud, Cloud Formation, Python, and Terraform to support at least 10,000 employees and 10 million customers;
Using Agile and DevOps management processed and tools - Jira, Confluence, Rally, and Jenkins - for full software lifecycle development including continuous integration and development (CI/CD) to lead the development efforts of a team of at least 10 Software Engineers, Architects, and Technical Product Managers, including planning, design, and delivery of high-quality code for cloud-based applications and infrastructure;
Analyzing large data sets using machine learning and process mining methods, and implementing web APIs;
Collaborating with multiple enterprise-wide technical teams including Engineering, Application Development, Security, Compliance, Testing, Project Management and Application Support teams for successful delivery of system features and enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications Experience and Education:
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master of Science in Computer Science, related field or its equivalent and 3 years of relevant work experience.
ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, related field or its equivalent and 5 years of relevant work experience.
