The U.S. Wealth Management business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and is comprised of the Chase Wealth Management, J.P. Morgan Securities and You Invest, our digital investing platform. The combined franchise has ~$400 billion in Assets under Supervision and ~4,000 advisors who work out of 3,500 branches and 21 offices. The business is highly dynamic given the rapid evolution of customer behavior, presenting both challenges in how we evolve to meet customer needs as well as opportunities in how we serve our customers more efficiently and effectively.
In this role you will function as an ED, Lead Software Engineer for US Wealth Management Technology Core Processing
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Mastery of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Command of architecture, design, and business processes
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
Expertise in working in in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
Passionate about building an innovative culture
Experienced in modern programming languages.
* Help define and drive deliveries towards the priorities and strategic direction for the area
* Active participation in an Agile development process, including working closely with the business
* Identify the non-functional requirements for the area
* Develop Code, perform POCs, perform Code Reviews, testing and implementation
* Full stack development, with an emphasis on cloud and UI
* Close engagement with Architects and Design Authority across other areas of US Wealth Management Technology
* Technical responsibility for application architecture and design
* Participate in Architecture & Engineering forums, perform design reviews
* Participate in dev modernization and adoption of emerging/modern technologies across the application suite
* Continuous improvement of our DevOps, tooling and processes to enable us to deliver more value
* Align with the security standards and guidelines to ensure systems are secure and protected against threats .
