Description
Contractor staff will develop software Tools and Services and maintain multiple instances of the software services that makes up the software services on MYSTICPOTIONS. Expertise in containerized landlord/tenant environments is essential. Contractor staff will support the development of Tools and Services that increase the efficiency of software development and sustainment efforts across the high performance computing environment. CLEVERCHEMIST  staff will be dual hatted. Staff will not only perform software engineering functions, but also support the MYSTICPOTIONS user community, through on-boarding and education activities regarding the use of the MYSTICPOTIONS platform and the services created by the CLEVERCHEIST team.

Requirements
A current Top-Secret/SCI with FS polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
 
SWE-1 Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
OR
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
OR
Four (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
 
SWE-2 Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
OR
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
OR
Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
 
SWE-3 Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
OR
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
OR
Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Task Required Skills for SWE-1 Candidates:

• Demonstrated software development experience using Python


• Experience with Golang


• Demonstrated experience developing in a Linux environment


• Experience with front end web development using HTML and JavaScript libraries


• Demonstrated experience with PostgreSQL


• Experience building Web APIs and RESTful services


• Experience with core services and service library


• Experience with React, Angular or Vue Javascript frameworks

Task Required Skills for SWE-2 Candidates:

• A minimum of 3 year demonstrated software development experience using Python


• A minimum of 1 year experience with Golang


• A minimum of 1 year experience developing in a Linux environment


• Experience with Front End web development using HTML and JavaScript libraries


• Demonstrated experience with PostgreSQL


• Experience building Web APIs and RESTful services


• Experience with core services and service library


• Experience with React, Angular or Vue Javascript frameworks

Task Required Skills for SWE-3 Candidates:

• A minimum of 5 years demonstrated software development experience using Python


• A minimum of 3 years experience with Golang


• A minimum of 3 years experience developing in a Linux environment


• Experience with Front End web development using HTML and JavaScript libraries


• Demonstrated experience with PostgreSQL


• Experience building Web APIs and RESTful services


• Experience with core services and service library


• Experience with React, Angular or Vue Javascript frameworks

Task Desired Skills for SWE-1, SWE-2, and SWE-3 Candidates:

• Experience using microservices (Preferably Docker, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift and Helm) strongly desired


• Demonstrated domain knowledge in distributed systems (cloud-based technologies)


• Demonstrated understanding of the core software development lifecycle
