Duties: Design, perform analytics, develop, test and program applications to fulfill business and functional requirements. Set strategic direction and solve problems, internally and externally. Design web components using latest browser standards. Style web components using SASS and CSS. Participate in code reviews and provide input on the coding practice of peers. Drive a team of innovators and technologists toward creating solutions that improve the business. Coordinate with design resources to interpret their component contracts and token lists. Test local development on a variety of web browsers and devices to ensure compliance with acceptance criteria. Write unit tests in JavaScript to automate the verification of the component behavior.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field of study and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience as a Software Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will accept a Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Master's degree and one (1) year of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following skills and technologies: using modern EcmaScript syntax including ES6+; JavaScript; HTML; CSS and SASS; using asynchronous programming such as Promises, async or await; performance debugging and benchmarking; testing frameworks such as Karma, Mocha or Jest; NodeJS development; Express Framework or similar Node.js-based web application platforms; Typescript or Babel; transpilation libraries; modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue; modern packaging including Webpack and Parcel; web component including custom element development; and Git version control and CI/CD.Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
