Duties: Develop technical specifications from functional requirements. Coordinate and support implementations of code deployments to higher environments. Perform technical validation post release. Analyze data from various systems for integration and reporting from data warehousing environment. Provide technical solutions for reporting functionality. Assist in determining design approaches.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as a Computer Programmer, Software Developer, Technical Lead, or related role. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: working with multiple file formats such as XML, text, or CSV; using analytical functions; utilizing collections, dynamic refcursors, and dbms profiler; performing data analysis and troubleshooting; programming in a Linux or Unix environment, including shell scripting; delivering software solutions; Oracle PL/SQL development; coding queries against Oracle; code debugging and debug defects; development concepts and SDLC methodologies; designing and developing ETL code using Informatica, Oracle, and PL/SQL programming; Oracle and Informatica infrastructure including application servers and database servers; Java programming; and writing Unix shell programming for batch job automation.
