Duties: Perform duties following all JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s standards change management and escalations. Provide resolution to break/fix issues. Create, modify and manage shell scripts. Use system performance monitoring tools such as IBM Tivoli Tools. Install and configure Sysback, NIM, and CommVault for Bare Metal restore capability, TSM and Disaster Recovery. Install, configure and administer enterprise backup solutions such as EMC BCV and SRDF and Commvault. Configure NFS and CIFS to NFS with multi-protocol support and integration with NAS and NIS utilizing master/slave configuration. Install, configure, upgrade and administer Secure File Transport Server and File Transfer Direct applications. Configuring SSH, encryption tools and key creation and exchange. Administer day to day management of IBM Hardware Management Console combined with configuring and administering Partition Mobility, Application Mobility, CPU Pooling, Active Memory Expansion (AME), Active Memory Sharing (AMS). Support an HA environment utilizing Power HA and manage NFS share and GPFS clustered file systems. All virtualization services such as Shared Ethernet Adapter (SEA), VLAN, VLAN tagging, IVE, NPIV, CPU pooling, Live Partition Mobility (LVM) and virtual SCSI services to multiple VIO client partitions. Escalate to vendors and provide root cause analysis and incident reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Employer will accept two (2) years of experience in Infrastructure (AIX) Engineering and Python / Shell development experience, or related experience as meeting the Bachelor's degree requirement.

Minimum experience required: Five (5) years of experience in Infrastructure (AIX) Engineering and Python/Shell Development experience, or related experience.

Skills required:Experience with AIX TCPIP/IP Stack and Network Protocols. Experience with Hypervisor Virtualization. Experience with shared Ethernet Adapters with VLAN Trunking. Experience with Virtualization Storage through VIOS. Shell or Python development experience. Experience with MPIO Storage Driver. Experience with AIX and VIOS Operating System Engineering. Experience with IBM P Series Hardware Support and Management. Experience with Hardware Management Console GPFS and PowerHA Clustering.
