The senior software engineering role will involve close interaction with the application architects, development team leaders, business team members and other members of the development team and will demand a high level of design and coding to implement and deliver enhancements. There will be ample opportunities to quickly expand on your technical experience, with plenty of business exposure. This role requires a foundation in Java and microservices and ability to provide technical expertise to enable multi-layered solution architectures that comprehend and specify business, application, data and infrastructure designs. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a passion for technology and a desire to deliver 1st class software.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
* Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
* Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
* Passionate about building an innovative culture
* Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
* Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement

* Must have experience delivering Java / SpringBoot webservices
* Demonstrated experience with OO analysis and design experience and SQL/Oracle is essential
* Proficiency with some of the following: Microservices, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, Redis, Bitbucket and Maven
* Exposure to Agile Dev Techniques (including TDD, JUnit, Mocks, Pair Programming, CI/CD) is preferred
