Duties: Provide technology solutions that address business needs by developing and maintaining applications within technology environments for claims, disputes and fraud functions. Utilize mature (3rd or 4th Generation) programming methodologies and languages. Adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation. Participate in the development and production support team and contribute to reengineering (rewrite) of technology platforms, maintenance and enhancement of CCB OPT systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of experience as a Senior Consultant, Software Developer, or related occupation. The employer will accept a Master's degree and five (5) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: creating technical design recommendations for developing and integrating programs; creating Java modules using Servlets, EJB, JSP and html; utilizing Webservices, J2EE, Hibernate, Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and Struts to create Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) webservices in Websphere process Server; developing applications utilizing Java Web Services such as SOAP, REST, JavaScript, SQL, React, Angular JS, and Micro Services; event streaming using messaging queue such as MQ or KAFKA; NOSQL databases such as Cassandra or Hadoop Stack; building automated testing capability using testing framework and tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Junit, AssertJ, or Mockito; testing, modifying, and implementing application codes; making modifications to existing software applications and modules in accordance with specifications and industry standards; developing, deploying, and supporting large-scale distributed applications in a production environment; engineering, designing, and developing the SOA-compliant business process; serving as technical liaison to business units providing Business Process Modelling (BPM) best practices, system analysis, research and support; utilizing IBM (BPM), PEGA, and Websphere Lombardi software to design and develop business process applications; utilizing Websphere Integration Developer such as SAP, PeopleSoft, MQ adapters, or JDBC adapters to integrate business solutions; Websphere server administration; Cloud applications development; and using emerging technology to build credit card claims and disputes functions.Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
