• Design and architect applications which see billions of requests per month


• Develop cloud services and APIs using Golang


• Recommend performance optimizations


• Mentor junior developers


• Evaluate new technologies to keep us on the cutting edge

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years web development experience preferred 


• Have experience working on web projects with Golang and PHP


• Have experience with Database optimization in MySQL


• Have experience with Docker


• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics -- or equivalent experience


• Exceptional communications skills, written and verbal

Additional Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in mentoring and training 


• Experience developing REST APIs 


• Experience with testing frameworks 


• Experience with Terraform, AWS CLI, or similar DevOps tools
