DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Partner closely with the Business Intelligence Delivery Centre (BIDC) to maintain core standards through definition, design and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions. Partner with our Business Product Owners to help drive define, refine and document the visualizations necessary to effectively drive the insight into the client / business operational behaviors needed by our business and sales organizations to drive operational and client behavioral change. Collaborate with the wider project team to define the database structures, data transformations and cleansing operations necessary to deliver the required reporting and analytical functions to support same.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as an IT Developer, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: designing and implementing dashboard solutions; data warehouse concepts including data modeling and oracle SQL development; Agile methodologies to implement business intelligence solutions; performing data analysis, troubleshooting data integrity issues and trend data analysis; and development of management reporting and performance analysis techniques. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: writing Structured Query Language (SQL) using various SQL-development software packages including Oracle PL/SQL and Teradata.
