Duties: Design, develop, program, test, and support software applications. Analyze and document business and functional requirements, and build responsive technology. Migrate developed applications to the cloud. Perform application testing and resolve performance issues identified during testing phase. Assist with peer code reviews. Write technical documentation and provide ongoing support for applications. Keep stakeholders updated on development progress.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as Software/Application Developer or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree plus three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: end-to-end Agile software development; application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines; implementing applications using Java; implementing applications using Spring; developing enterprise-scale middleware services using SOAP; developing enterprise-scale middleware services using REST; and Source Code Management using Git.
