We’re seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer (Backend API)  to join our Consumer Engineering team who is familiar with scalable architectures, data flows, and APIs. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop API’s and integrations for a large-scale, cloud-based application


• Build and implement microservices to improve scalability and performance


• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including development, code reviews, testing and production

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ software engineering experience


• Experience developing in Ruby on Rails


• Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related technical field), or equivalent experience 


• Experience with Postgres or MySQL


• Experience writing unit tests and integrations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with RESTful frameworks


• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Google)


• Experience working with scalable API frameworks
