How you Might Contribute 

• Contribute to projects in hybrid cloud environments with hybrid workloads where both VMs and containers are used 

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to achieve high reliability and availability 

• Develop and maintain various DevOps artifacts. 

• Participate in evaluating and eventually implementing open source technologies, cloud offerings 

• Deploy and maintain k8s artifacts 

• Tune application performance and ensure availability promised as per customer SLA> 

A Successful Candidate Should Have: 

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience required, Master’s Degree preferred.  

• 2+ years’ experience in developing, deploying and supporting services-based enterprise solutions in private and public clouds such as GCP, Azure and AWS + software engineering experience for developing applications using Java, Python 

• 1+   years’ experience in developing and deploying microservices and monolith applications in Kubernetes or VMs using containers 

• Experience deploying and managing massive scale monitoring of containerized solutions 

• Experience in designing systems to run at large scale and multi cloud environments across geographically distributed data centers 

• Experience in designing Application deployment descriptors like Helm, Kustomize etc.  preferred 

• Must be able to work in either the San Ramon or Palo Alto, CA campus, Palo Alto preferred, local candidates preferred, will be able to work from home during COVID
