As an experienced Infrastructure Engineering professional, you'll be making decisions of a global and strategic nature that impact our customers, clients, and businesses around the globe. Your expertise in analyzing complex data systems, anticipating problems, and finding ways to mitigate risk, will be key in leading a high performing team to successfully design and navigate the program roadmap. By incorporating your knowledge of business drivers, you will affect change and lead development of innovative improvements and world-class practices. Your team will look to you to mentor them as they work collaboratively to drive the strategic technology roadmap of the Lab-As-A-Service product. You'll guide them while they are implementing high-quality technology solutions, driving for results, and implementing multiple, complex programs that span the breadth of the Lab-As-A-Service product. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, and will support the lab infrastructure, determining hardware and software components to meet ongoing lab usage demand. This position requires extensive interaction with multiple internal technology groups. He/She will be involved with gathering/documenting technical requirements for lab projects that support the needs of the internal technology groups.
He/She will also assist with proof of concept work for proposed solutions and work with key technology vendors for infrastructure support on both existing equipment and next-generation solutions to ensure success.
He/She will drive the automation of manual processes, removing day to day toil, driving the use of existing/new telemetry tools to improve ensure availability to the global client base.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge in the following key areas: Infrastructure testing, monitoring, operations, program management, network management, design, security, network engineering (planning, provision, support)
Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices and JPMC policies
Proficient in multiple infrastructure technologies such as DHCP, DNS, Access Management, Linux/Unix, Windows, VMWare
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget
Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms
Proficient in one programming language (Java, PERL, Python)
Proficient in Automation technology such as Ansible and/or RPA
Good understanding of standard support processes such as ITIL, KPIs, and standard service management reporting
Knowledge of ServiceNow a plus
