Tenet3 is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our development team in Dayton, OH. At Tenet3, we continually try to break our own software so that we can build it back, better than before. Test engineers at Tenet3 aren't manual testers -- you will write scripts to automate tests and integrate your tests into the continuous integration / continuous deployment pipeline. You will navigate Tenet3's code repositories, identifying weaknesses and problems and create issues and solutions to improve the product.

Essential Job Duties

You will use test automation tools such as selenium and behave to develop tests that keep Tenet3 software working across browsers and platforms under rapid development cycles. You will:

• Automate repeated tasks and build test coverage through existing or new infrastructure


• Create automated performance tests 


• Generate useful metrics to measure code coverage and results from performance tests


• Lead/collaborate on improving developer and engineering team's test coverage, release velocity and production health


• Collaborate with the engineering and design to ensure features work according to specifications


• Participate in peer reviews of code written by other developers


• Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications


• Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application integration and testing tools


• Assist in preparing estimates for implementing new system enhancements

Skills/Qualifications

• Eligibility to establish and maintain a Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance


• 5+ years of relevant work experience, including development and/or test automation experience


• Deep knowledge of testing methodologies, creating test cases and debugging


• Experience testing web applications and multiple browsers


• Automation testing experience using tools like Selenium, Behave, JMeter or similar.


• Experience testing JavaScript applications on a collaborative team


• Experience interacting with APIs (REST, SOAP or GraphQL)


• Familiarity with databases


• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering required.

Salary Range

$70k - $105k (paid relocation available)
