DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop, and test Pega solutions that service applications across the firm. Participate in an Agile POD and provide technical expertise for the development group. Debug application issues and provide third-level support for resolution of production issues across the organization. Create technical requirements and technical designs. Test and deploy applications. Provide estimates and create appropriate project documentation. Ensure personal adherence to coding standards, procedures and techniques, and that all technical documentation is complete and in compliance with company standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Development Lead, IT Consultant, Applications/Software Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with Pega programming. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: application server technology such as WebSphere or JBoss; JMS implementation; clustered environments; service oriented architecture; cloud technologies such as AWS or Pivotal Cloud Foundry; Oracle SQL; data modeling standards and Java class structures; development, coding, testing, and debugging using Junit and PegaUnit; version and revision control practices and procedures such as CVS or Subversion; and DevOps and CICD methodologies.Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
