DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, build, and implement investment solutions across private real estate, real assets, private credit, and other alternative categories for institutional investors. Lead database design, develop analytics and quantitative tools focused on alternatives investment and continuously automate the private investment portfolio construction using multiple database design and maintenance tools as well as general programming. Create and maintain relative value quantitative frameworks in private alternatives investment strategies for global institutional clients including Pension, Endowment, Insurance and Sovereign Wealth Funds. Create and maintain customized top quality collateral for multi-asset solutions oriented client engagement. Develop, analyze, and maintain time series returns, and fundamental and macro-economic data from various third party sources for custom collateral generation. Draft periodic top quality white papers on global private investments, including topics on core real assets in liability aware portfolios, global core alternatives investing, late cycle manager selection, and public vs. private investing. Remain abreast with the latest trends in private investment markets, capital flows, client preferences and competitors dynamics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience as an Analyst or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires two years of experience with the following skills and technologies: Programming skills including C, C++, Java, Script, R, Python, Matlab, and SQL to construct financial assets time series and lead database design; developing analytics tools and automating investment portfolio construction and the execution process; building relative value quantitative frameworks in investment and trading execution strategies; and using Bloomberg, and Excel to conduct market research and portfolio analysis.JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
