DESCRIPTION: Gather business requirements and design and develop software. Develop solutions using Python, HTML and React. Drive new development as well as support day-to-day bug fixes for Latin America trading supporting Traders, Sales, Middle Office, Finance Product Controllers, Market Risk, Quantitative Research, Back Office and Regulatory teams. Build solutions across the full product lifecycle from trade capture, pricing, risk management, regulatory reporting to accounting and settlements. Multi-task and prioritize activities to address the immediate needs of trading alongside new development. Support and maintain middleware technologies. Use and maintain relational and graph oriented databases. Analyze and improve market data processes. Automate trading desk processes. Build strategic solutions that meet the needs of Latin America regions and fit into the global systems framework. Investigate pricing and risk management issues.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience or a Master's degree plus three (3) years of experience in lieu of seven (7) years of experience.
