Secondary Marketing - Portfolio Manager
The Secondary Marketing Team in Home Lending Capital Markets is responsible pricing, sale and risk management of the firm's mortgage pipeline. This position is responsible for supporting all of these functions with a focus on connecting best execution decision with optimization of retained servicing and portfolio assets.
Influence best executions decision and related hedging strategy
Relate best execution and hedge strategy to the Balance Sheet return and P&L
Work across the firm to execute best execution strategy this includes but is not limited to
Mortgage Banking background (min 5yrs experience)
Understanding of relevant accounting standards and background in financial analysis. Proven ability to understand and research drivers of Valuation and P&L.
Capital Markets: Understanding of risks associated with mortgage banking
Capital Markets: Knowledge of Agency securitization and principles of best ex.
Capital Markets: Understanding of Capital Markets process from pricing to loan delivery
Capital Markets: Knowledge of non agency execution
Capital Markets: Knowledge of portfolio valuation for whole loan, servicing and other retained interests
* Leadership, self-starter, task oriented etc
* Working understanding of database applications such as sas, sql.
* QRM background a positive
* Excellent written, problem solving and communication skills
* Ability to prioritize competing deliverables under tight deadlines
