The Sr Analyst, for Device Financing is a position that requires strategic and analytic thinking, the ability to influence team members and key stakeholders cross-functionally, and an appetite for change and innovation to deliver a best in class API's.
The Sr Analyst will participate in large enterprise projects and programs supporting one or more work streams and multiple business teams. The candidate will need to have a wide variety of skills and strong communication in order to support activities, such as: gathering, developing and documenting stakeholder requirements (developing Initiatives/Features/Acceptance Criteria/User Stories), and collaborating closely with technology to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs. The candidate needs the ability to balance competing priorities and negotiate successful outcomes that are understood by those they represent. The candidate should be comfortable with multiple SDLC methodologies and agile development models.
The ideal candidate will be able to quickly integrate and develop a clear understanding of the Domain teams they represent, be self-motivated and resourceful, and have a strong aptitude for creative problem solving. This role requires the ability to understand financial-related work streams and help drive successful implementation of requirements and process.
Responsibilities
- Lead large and small initiatives to improve the systems, user experience, related procedures, and customer/frontline satisfaction
- Evaluate, deliver, and contribute to the design of strategic solutions that improve the systems, user experience, and overall customer satisfaction
- Create, own, and/or approve documentation including process flows, impact assessments, workflow documents, sequence diagrams, create user stories, user acceptance test cases, and production support procedures. Able to teach these skills to others.
- Foster relationships with key cross-functional partners and internal stakeholders, and develop strong partnerships to obtain results on behalf of the department
- Provide recommendations on when to trade off functionality, and when not to trade off, and communicate to multiple audiences.
- Manage risks and issues and escalate as appropriate.
- Align policy, procedure and process with other lines of business to ensure consistent experience.
- Serves in a consulting or subject matter expert capacity on enterprise-wide project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts and in some cases may lead all or subgroups of project teams to accomplish project activities and objectives
Qualifications - 6-years of systems analysis experience with understanding strategic business information systems.
- Solid understanding of business process and system process within multiple knowledge areas.
- Excellent written and communication skills; effectively communication with all employee levels and levels of management.
- Proven experience with identifying and resolving requirement impacting issues, working with members of project management team and business SMEs/executives to develop and implement viable solutions.
- Technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliverables.
- Must be proficient and have experience using MS Office suite Excel/Word/Viso
- In depth data research and investigation experience.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Relationship management experience.
- Wireless industry and web experience.
- Education
Bachelors' Degree preferred in analysis discipline.
Additional relevant work experience may be considered in Lieu of degree.
