Deliverables:
This role will be responsible for tag management Tealium iQ, and have a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and deep understanding of clickstream data. The candidate wlll deliver data-driven insights related to guest digital behavior using Adobe Analytics and have the ability to perform statistical methodologies such as regression analysis, cluster analysis, cohort analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for extracting large datasets directly from the data warehouse and conducting advanced analytics and financial modeling and forecasting in order to present a clear data story to executive leadership.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for building 'client-side' web application development.
- Translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.
- Use markup languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create user-friendly cross-browser / cross-platform web applications.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed.
- Design and implement responsive features.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability and meet product stakeholder requirements.
- Create quality mockups and prototypes as needed. Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
- Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of web analytics and tracking methodologies particularly within the eCommerce space (tag management, conversion/event tracking, variables and metrics configuration).
- Strong experience working with tag management platforms (Tealium preferred).
- Familiarity working with and implementing analytics and marketing tags (image, iframe, script).
- Strong experience working with front-end web-development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and complex eCommerce websites.
- Experienced using browser plug-ins and developer tools to determine which metrics are populated in the data layer, verify tracking pixel changes, and find/diagnose tagging issues.
- Ability to document use cases, business requirements, functional updates, technical specifications, and solutions diagrams.
- Solid understanding of digital product workflow in an agile environment.
- Demonstratable ability to work optimally with both business and technical partners.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated teamwork and collaboration success, driving cross-functional teams forward and building consensus, preferably with global teams.
- Platform Experience: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Adobe Target, Tableau, Tealium/AudienceStream, mParticle, Qualtrics Site-Intercept, JIRA/Confluence
- 8+ years experience
- Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
- Hands on experience with markup languages
- Hands on experience with JavaScript, CSS and jQuery
- Familiarity with cross-browser, cross-platform testing and debugging
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- Understanding of layout aesthetics
- Knowledge of SEO principles
- Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop and content management systems
- An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes that balance technical and business goals
- Broad web and digital knowledge, an aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving as well as mentoring/guiding other members of the team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish goals and set clear expectations, prioritize activities, and follow through to completion
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field
