This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

10+ years of strong programming experience with OO programing technologies (i.e. Java & J2EE).
Quick Learner and ability to jump into an existing code base and understand the code quickly and make enhancements/changes as business demands change.
Strong understanding of the MVC design patterns and implementations.
Build new applications and enhance existing suite of applications.
Provide support and guidance to development teams during all phases of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including application support.
Provide expertise in IT Quality Controls and utilize test driven development methodologies
Responsible for technical team's deliverables in all phases of the development lifecycle.
Participate in application developer and peer code reviews.
Keep abreast of new technology and methods to optimize development for the enterprise.
Maintain compliance with IT change management, Security, SDLC, and development standards, including leading code reviews, developing and reviewing implementation plans.
Hands-on experience with 10+ years of web development in J2EE and JavaScript.
Ability to estimate software development tasks, given a set of requirements and assumptions.
Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodology.
Ability to develop secure solutions and knowledge of industry best practices regarding information security and defensive development.
Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Proven track record of delivering quality software..
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong knowledge of Enterprise design and development working with json responses.
Experience in production support.
