Duties: Enhance monitoring and validation of application performance by using Splunk and Thousandeyes to identify potential bottlenecks, suggest solutions, and collaborate with developers on solutions. Ensure service levels are met and maintained, and LoB (Line of Business) production applications are uninterrupted, secure, correctly functioning, and in compliance with all security and cyber controls. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solution to user interface. Monitor and maintain infrastructure health by using DynaTrace to capture issues that cause application failure. Mitigate issues and analyse them for root cause. Participate in and ensure RCA (root cause analysis) activities on client impacting incidents are executed and action items are assigned/completed. Setup and update monitoring using development/scripting around the applications to capture production issues proactively. Setup monitoring dashboards/alerts and reports for the applications using Splunk to monitor application health. Develop automated reports around incident management, change management, hygiene and SLA tracking using Cognos reporting tool. Enhance applications to ensure constant availability. Improve user experience for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) salesforce and other marketing applications.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Programmer Analyst, Web/Java UI Developer, CRM Salesforce Developer, Cognos Developer, or related occupation. The employer will accept a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience.
