This is a VP-level role for a product development officer to lead the solution generation and delivery of aligned projects as part of the strategic roadmap for the end-to-end Securities Services Entitlements products & services. Developing solutions with a sharp focus on customer needs, client service, operational efficiency and controls is a key responsibility of this role. The candidate will work closely in partnership with Product Management, Product Development, Entitlements Operations and various Technology groups to ensure delivery of projects is successfully completed according to agreed timelines and budget. The candidate must provide thought leadership for Technology and Operations, must have the technical skills to learn/understand the technology infrastructure and entitlements models - how they should be implemented most effectively and staged within the context of business strategy and priorities. It is also critical that the candidate has an understanding of, and ability to optimize the end-to-end entitlements product and aligned process. This role will identify opportunities to enhance the product while improving efficiency and controls and be able to influence stakeholders to support these initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Work to the head of the Entitlements team as one of the entitlements SMEs.
Lead the definition of product specifications based on customer needs, regulatory requirements, firm-wide policies, controls, and inputs from Clients, Client Service, Operations Hub, Legal and Compliance, other Product Development areas and Technology.
Prepare business requirements document, review functional requirements prepared by technology team, and help operations team define operational processes to support the product.
Document traceability of requirements to business objectives - ensure that all requirements are all in support of the business case.
Monitor system development activities and document user acceptance testing plans and scripts for technology implementations.
In partnership with technology and operations teams define implementation schedule for product build out, production deployment, and roll-out, in alignment with business priorities, ensuring product is delivered on time and on budget.
Be the go-to person for stakeholders across different teams for questions and issues related to the end-to-end entitlements product.
Identify and manage risks/issues; create solutions to address limitations while minimizing time to market and minimizing control/operational risk.
Elicitation and documentation of current state and future state models, metrics, use case development, and business requirements. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and ensure consistency.
Ensure Clients, Affiliates, Client Service teams, Operations and other users of the end-to-end Entitlements platform are fully trained in the product, and cognizant of constraints around product, capacity and operational process.
Manage dependencies on other product development and technology teams and to ensure seamless delivery (respective technology teams - Wholesale Payments, Core Securities Services, Post Trade and PB Reporting, Digital Platform and other cross-product development, etc.).
Cultivate internal cross-functional partnerships to deliver solutions / program requirements.
Demonstrate ability to effectively work and deliver on a variety of concurrent assignments / tasks of different complexity.

Qualifications:
Business analysis and solution design experience are essential for this role, with knowledge of these related to entitlements highly desirable.
Prior experience in Product Development roles in Securities Services business areas will be highly desirable.
Knowledge and experience in Securities Services business domains would be beneficial.
Experience in large process improvement / re-engineering programs would be beneficial.
Ability to rapidly absorb, cohere and rationalize new information.
