We are looking for a Java Application Developer Lead to work in Columbus, Ohio to develop party and account reference data management solutions for Wealth Management business. Work includes application development using Java, Micro-services and API development.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
Designing of robust and scalable solutions to support Enterprise application
Develop robust and scalable enterprise level solutions using REST, Kafka, MQ and other standard channel
Develop and support middleware applications using Java / Open Source
Provide second level support to fixes and solutions for issues in production
Enhance and maintain applications and components for Asset Management team
Successful candidate will require the following skills:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field along with a minimum of 12 + years of overall IT experience
Experience in Designing scalable solutions
Strong track record of HANDS ON application development using Java 8, Spring, Kafka, MQ, REST, Web services , GraphQL and API development
Hands on experience with NOSQL databases like MongoDB , Cassandra and Neo4j
Candidate should be good in relational databases like Oracle or Sybase
Experience with search engines like Elastic Search and Apache SOLR
Experience with caching frameworks like HazelCast or GemFire.
Good in data modelling, OLAP and OLTP relationship structures.
Should have experience in designing and architecting complex enterprise level applications.
Good knowledge of modern development lifecycle processes such as Agile and iterative development
Collaborate with BA, QA and PM team members for effective testing and delivery
