The successful candidate will be a part of the overall tax product team, and as a senior software engineer will implement enhancements to support the product's strategic roadmap. The candidate must have a proven track record of application development with skills in Cloud, Java, Micro services and building scalable robust systems. In addition, he/she should have excellent communications skills and be able to build strong relationships with business and technology partners and stakeholders.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
* Strong track record of application development under Java (or similar language), Spring, REST Web Services
* Knowledge of SQL and a good understanding of relational databases
* Experience in designing / developing scalable solutions
* Good understanding of technical architecture and enterprise architecture
* History of working in an agile development environment
* Experience with Source Code management techniques/tools.
* Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle
