As a member of the Central Business Expansion team, you'll draw on your strengths in project management to maintain up-to-date program documentation and support the launch of the Merchant Services business in multiple geographies. This role requires an ability to manage complex cross-dependencies for a program that includes building a new platform and expanding the Merchant Service business, using multiple models of market entry. You'll be working closely with our cross-functional partners in Technology, Operations, Product, Controls, Legal and Compliance. In addition to collaborating with your teammates, you'll communicate with stakeholders across the firm to work toward the best possible outcomes. While this role is rooted in project management, it's a terrific opportunity to develop your leadership skills, develop an understanding of how to start up a business in a new market, and make lasting connections throughout JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Manage business readiness activities within a global payments transformation program, which encompasses both platform modernization and international expansion:
o Manage meetings with internal stakeholders
o Maintain Project Plans
o Understand dependencies
o Maintain Risk Log
o Design, Implement and maintain centralized information repositories (SharePoint, Confluence)
Manage ongoing communications and materials to report progress and key updates
Drive consistency and develop common processes for use across the business readiness function
Leverage JIRA and other tools to effectively report on and drive the completion of business readiness tasks
Partner actively with internal stakeholders and leaders within various departments of Merchant Services Product and Technology teams in order to support the delivery of an expanded international platform
Navigate internal and external demands while coordinating activities that support the business strategy and objectives
BS/BA degree is required
Minimum of 3 years of experience successfully managing complex projects required; Merchant Services experience is preferred
Experience working in a product organization; preferably within an Agile environment
Proven ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm
Outstanding organizational and time management skills, ability to execute on goals and deliverables even in ambiguous or changing environments
Strong executive-level verbal and written communication skills, including presenting and influencing all levels of leadership, especially in virtual formats
Self-starter with proactive mindset, proven ability to problem-solve and think logically and strategically with sense of urgency and disposition to execute
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project etc.) with demonstrated commitment to learning and utilizing technical tools; Knowledge of JIRA a plus
