Duties: Drive the data architecture for the group, including managing and defining the data strategy and infrastructure. Serve as technical product owner for the flagship application to build a strategic solution to be leveraged across WM Core, and decommission the existing monolith architecture across the group. Understand the data landscape, business processes and data flows across various products spanning from the existing data landscape to the future strategic vision. Manage the data architecture decisions, defining the model and infrastructure and the overall landscape influencing and partnering with the AWM wide leadership and strategy team. Drive the identification and implementation of automation opportunities across the application and infrastructure. Manage the Credit MIS space responsible for strategic reporting and analytics to the core business group. Lead the tech team to drive the strategy and deliver end to end solutions. Drive firm wide change initiatives for technology groups.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in job offered or seven (7) years of experience as Applications Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree plus five (5) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: Advanced SQL and non-SQL database and performance tuning tools including Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Exadata, Postgresql, and Greenplum; ETL using Informatica; scheduling tools such as Autosys or Control-m; SVN; Git; Unix Shell; and Perl.
