As a member of our Technology Operations team, your initiative and creative problem-solving will help propel global innovation in technology and business. Working with a team of motivated collaborators, you'll develop and implement strategic technology solutions, ensuring the successful integration of network system and applications servers into existing and new technology infrastructures. You'll play a key role in the care and support of customers, including proactive incident monitoring. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Operations, Design, Administration, and Testing, or related experience
Strong experience with VMware Products (ESX, VCSA, vRO)
Experience with Storage Systems
Experience with Configuration Management is a plus (e.g. Chef, and Puppet)
Experience with operating systems including Windows and Linux and scripting experience in these platforms
Infrastructure management engineer familiar with operations; including planning, designing, implementing, deploying and supporting functions. Ability to report key metrics on data center and network/infrastructure operational activity.
Technical skills required to manage Unix/Linux, MS Windows and VMWare environments and troubleshoot complex technical issues for Root Cause Analysis.
Identifying and executing on opportunities for automation and efficiencies in operational activity.
Help drive and prioritize the hygiene agenda, to ensure the core Test Environment/Lab infrastructure is compliant with our health, risk and security agenda
Manage the customer demand pipeline, monitor environment usage and manage current capacity
Ability to efficiently manage a variety of concurrent projects simultaneously and adhere to service level objectives.
Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
Strong understanding of Test Process, strategy and planning with Metrics and Status Reporting/KPI's
Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Agile methodology
