Duties: Analyze, design, develop, debug, test, document, deploy, and provide production support to applications. Build web application user interface and frameworks. Design and develop workflow system to optimize operational efficiency. Design and build application workflows and create appropriate project documentation. Responsible for all aspects of the software development life-cycle. Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements, and drive them from concept to implementation. Ensure all quality standards are followed for deliverables through code metrics checks, code reviews, unit, and regression tests. Interact with business and cross teams to identify application impacts and to interface design and technical specification design documentation. Provide architecture and design guidance on developing solutions. Drive team on technical expertise and mentor team to enhance their skillsets. Participate in agile scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups. Build project demos and effectively present information to management and stakeholders.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of experience as Software/Application Developer, System Engineer, Technical Lead, Programmer Analyst, or related role. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree and five (5) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: Pega PRPC 8.2 or 7.2; software development using Java J2EE; Java; and BPM. This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: Pega AES, PLA, PAL, Preflight and SMA. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: web services, REST, SOAP, JSON or XML; UX design; Eclipse; and JSP. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: Java Script; UNIX; and RDBMS, SQL, PL SQL, and Oracle.
