Duties: Drive new build efforts to deliver new products of the highest standard. Lead design reviews and participate in planning sessions with team members to analyze business requirements. Perform code reviews to ensure delivery of high-quality code and to establish that all solutions are aligned to design specifications. Utilize experience in application design, solutions architecting, analytics, development testing and setting strategic technical direction to solve complex problems. Understand business requirements, design, develop, and deploy wealth planning tools and micro services that are used by Wealth Planning Advisors across various JPMorgan lines of business. Drive innovative solutions to grow our existing platforms.
Minimum education required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Minimum experience required: 2 years of experience in Software Engineering, or related field.
Skills required:Demonstrated knowledge Java 8, J2EE, and EJB. Demonstrated knowledge of Java APIs including JNDI, JDBC and JSP. Experience developing RESTful APIs, RESTful Applications, and Web Services. Demonstrated knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate, Spring Security, and Spring Data. Experience with RDBMS, Sybase, Oracle 10/12, and SQL. Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Technologies including Cloud Foundry, Spring Cloud, and Docker. Demonstrated knowledge of Test Frameworks including JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, Protractor, JMeter, and Blazemeter. Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and Version Control tools BitBucket, Git, SVN, and CVS. Demonstrated knowledge of the Unix/Linux environment and Shell Scripting.
